Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8 hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents.
Free, one-on-one technology assistance! Please be sure to bring your active library card as well as any devices, charging cables, and information you may need to access your accounts.
We can assist you with:
- Windows & Mac basics
- iPad and iPhone basics
- Kindle or Nook basics
- Library resource set-up and use (downloading books, music, movies, classes, etc)
- Microsoft Office Basics (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Email set-up and use
- USB flash drive use
- Google Drive set-up and use
- Facetime or Skype for video chatting
- Spotify or Pandora for listening to music
- Social media set-up and navigation (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
- Library database usage

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to use the library’s digital media studio.
Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to hang out in the teen room where they can do homework, utilize the crafting cart, play video/computer games, battle their friends at Dominos and Jenga, or just hang out!

Try new foods and meet new friends at this delectable monthly book club! Pick up a copy of each month's cookbook at the Turner Free Library, choose one of the recipes, and make and bring a dish to share with the group.
