Join other crafters for an afternoon of creativity and conversation at the Turner Free Library. Crafternoon is a free program open to adults and teens ages 12 and up. All craft supplies are provided unless otherwise specified.
For teens in grades 7-12. Spend four days in the Teen Room working with your friends on a film about an issue of importance to you. Let your voice be heard, and pick up 8 hours of community service in the process.
Free, one-on-one technology assistance! Please be sure to bring your active library card as well as any devices, charging cables, and information you may need to access your accounts.
We can assist you with:
- Windows & Mac basics
- iPad and iPhone basics
- Kindle or Nook basics
- Library resource set-up and use (downloading books, music, movies, classes, etc)
- Microsoft Office Basics (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Email set-up and use
- USB flash drive use
- Google Drive set-up and use
- Facetime or Skype for video chatting
- Spotify or Pandora for listening to music
- Social media set-up and navigation (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
- Library database usage

For teens in grades 7-12. Teen writers, assemble! If you’re a teen who likes to write - scripts, poetry, prose, fanfiction, whatever! - come meet up with other teen writers, share your work, get feedback, and swap some cool story ideas!
