Program Details
Teens in Grades 7-12 are invited to register for a unique and exciting program from Winterberry Homestead designed to get them excited about and involved in sustainable gardening!
Teens will make planting pots out of recycled cardboard, newsprint, or soil blocks with a press. Then, participants fill their pots with soil and pick from a variety of organic seeds to plant. Last, they will make labels so they'll remember what they're growing! Unlimited transplants can be planted to be taken home or plan a library garden, and it is a great way to get young people excited about summer gardening!
