VIRTUAL PROGRAM: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (Brockton Public Library)

Brockton Library has an important Zoom program coming up on September 24 at 12 PM. Rebecca Whittaker, research assistant in Criminal Ethnic and Community Studies at Umass Boston, will join us for a look at the plight of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. She hopes to use her position as an outsider to bring attention to a serious issue that is too often overlooked by the general public and mainstream media.
