Program Details

Winterberry Homestead, located in Ithaca, New York, offers programs centered on sustainable agriculture and heirloom skills. Many of these are home education projects for their family, developed in response to requests from local libraries based on the national summer reading theme of the year. Participants are able to choose wax colors, scents, and shapes of candles, and may choose to hand dip or use candle molds: Candles are made from 100% vegetable based waxes with the exception of beeswax.
