Find your voice at the summer children's art workshop presented by illustrator Stephanie Osser.

Description from instructor:

“Inspired by the great illustrator, Eric Carle, who created The Hungry Caterpillar, creating with his own textured papers to make collage, we’ll use recycled patterned papers and cardboard. Plan to have fun creating imaginative characters, animals and people that will make you and your friends and family smile, and laugh!

We will provide recycled patterned papers and cardboard food boxes, and colorful textures from old magazines, etc.  You may save some from your house, and bring them along to our workshop. Your characters can be created from frozen pizza boxes, potato pancake boxes, cereal boxes, etc. with images of fruits, and veggies.

With some googly eyes, we’ll provide, just watch as your characters come alive!  They can become puppets with moving parts.  If you have time to make more characters, you can make up a short story and share it.  Your creations can also decorate you home, or be worn as wearable art".

This program is funded by a grant from the Randolph Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
