Program Description

Program Details

Teensgiving is a vibrant, community-centered event where teens from all backgrounds come together to celebrate friendship, diversity, and gratitude through food, culture, and connection. Hosted in the spirit of a potluck, each participant is invited to bring a dish that represents their heritage, family traditions, or personal favorites. The result is a delicious, colorful spread of global flavors that reflects the richness of the community.

More than just a meal, Teensgiving fosters cultural exchange, storytelling, and appreciation. As teens share the significance behind their dishes, they learn about one another's histories, customs, and identities in a fun, welcoming space.

Whether it’s homemade tamales, biryani, lasagna, injera, or apple pie, every dish tells a story—and every story brings people closer. Teensgiving is not only a celebration of food, but of the many ways we give thanks, express ourselves, and build community across cultures.
