Myranda V. Peterson, creator of "The Avat Prince" and creator-director of "Tales of Arkania," and her actors will be presenting a voice acting workshop on how to dub your own anime.

For teens in grades 7-12.  Registration required.

 

About the Artists

Myranda V. Peterson
A young artist who wears many hats, Myranda Victoria Peterson is an author, illustrator, animator and voice director with a contagious passion for storytelling. She first started off writing plays, which her parents and friends helped her perform when she was a little girl. A self-taught artist, her creative work is heavily inspired by anime and Japanese pop culture. She creates original, high-fantasy content that aims to inspire the youth of today with themes of generosity, courage, friendship and hope.

 

Josh Portillo
Josh Portillo (He/Him/His) is an Asian (Filipino, Vietnamese, and Chinese) Voice Actor that started in Sept. 2018 and began to get more serious in the field in late 2019. His biggest inspirations for becoming a voice actor come from the games Metal Gear Solid, the Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper series, and the Star Fox series.

 

Mia Rodriguez
Mia Rodriguez, otherwise known as RodVAProductions, is a professional Afro-Latina Voice Over Artist and Actress. Having nearly a decade of acting experience, and training with an esteemed coach, she specializes in animation, commercial and audio dramas.
