Program Description

Program Details

The Old Colony Library Network and the Turner Free Library are migrating to new library software, which will mean new and great things for you! As part of this process, OCLN services will be offline from Monday April 27 through Wednesday April 29. Our new system will be online on Thursday, April 30.

Things to know while our system is offline:

  • Turner Free Library public computers and printing services will be available as usual.
  • While the system is offline, library staff will not be able to search the catalog, look up your account, process payments, or make changes to your account. Please be sure to bring your library card when you visit the library.
  • While the system is offline, you will not be able to search the catalog, place new holds, renew items, or update your account.
  • Access to Libby / Overdrive, Hoopla, and other electronic services will not be available.

Our new system will be fully available on Thursday, April 30. Please be aware of a few anticipated changes:

  • Our public catalog ocln.org will have a completely new look and will offer new features.
  • Any letters in your PIN will be converted to uppercase. Please use uppercase letters when you log in to the new system.
  • If you have difficulty logging in, or have forgotten your PIN / password, you'll be able to change your password by supplying your library card number and email address. New passwords can be created with any combination of numbers and upper and lowercase letters. If you have forgotten or do not have an email address with us, please visit your library to have your password changed.
  • All of your checkouts and holds will be moved to the new system. If you elected to save your reading history, it will also be moved to the new system.

We hope to cause as little disruption as possible, but this is a big change for library staff, so please be patient with us as we all learn and adjust to our new system.
