Program Description

Program Details

Preserve your family's history and memories by converting your photos, VHS tapes, cassettes, slides and more into digital files!

A Teen Task Force member will spend up to 30 minutes showing you how the digitization process works for your project of choice.  You will then have the remaining time to finish converting your material in the Turner Free Library Studio. During that time, a Teen Task Force member will be available to answer any follow up questions; however, they will not stay in the studio with you while your materials convert. Space is very limited, please register in advance.

  • Please arrive by 2pm. After 30 minutes the studio will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • You are required to stay in the Turner Free Library studio at all times while your materials are converting.
  • Please bring the appropriate materials (i.e. USB drive, DVD, CD, etc.) in order to take your digitized files with you.
  • Turner Free Library does not assume responsibility for your materials, including any digitized files you might save to the computer.  To protect your privacy, all digital files will be deleted after your session.
  • At this time, patrons are only able to digitize up to two hours of material in one sitting.
  • While using the studio all attendees must follow the Studio Use Policy.

Space is very limited, please register in advance.
