Program Description

Program Details

Join Ms. Marsha and Ms. Gina at Powers Farm for Art in the Park. Each week we will create a different type of art that has a special message.

Week 1: We will learn about the kindness project and create kindness rocks to  leave around the grounds and one to take home.

Week 2: We will learn about Dave the Potter an enslaved artist who sent messages though his pottery.  The children will create their own masterpieces with clay.

Week 3: We will talk about how nature inspires artists.   The children will create their own painting inspired by the beautiful nature in this space.

This group is for young children 4-9 and their caregivers. Space is limited so click here to reserve your space

NOTE: In the event of rain, this program will take place indoors at the Turner Free Library.

This program is funded by a grant from the Randolph Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency
